Open Question: Can I be a Dermatologist?

I am really fascinated by skin and health. I would really like to be a dermatologist. I go to a very good private school but my grades are all b's and b+. Since medical school is so difficult to get into I don't think that I could pursue that career. My mom joked and said I could go to medical school in the virgin islands if I really wanted to.
